Hello hello hello and welcome back!
Some of my more observant watchers will remember not too long ago (yesterday) when I wrote about a new gig I am working on. One that I can't talk about (which one, right?). Well one of the things that happens to me whenever I read one of my favorite artists journal/bogs and they say they have a big project and they can't talk about is is, I get all kinds of excited about it. And it seems the longer I have to wait, the more excited I get.
Well I am not going to do you all like that. Nope. No teasing, no waiting. Here it is.
I am the newest artist for BOOM! Studios. And since the guys at HQ have already talked about the new book, I figured I could to. So here it is.
The Book is called Extermination. And its going to be awesome.
I am doing the pencils and inks for the interiors as well as some of the character designs. As of right now, I Eric, my editor, hasn't decided on a colorist yet. But I have seen pages worked up and they were amazing. Simply amazing.
Now your not going to get any spoilers outta me, sorry, but I can tell you guys that an interview was held with Si Spurrier, the writer-extraordinaire, by the guys over at CBR.

I always recommend checking out Si's interviews because he sums up the idea of the book so much better than I can. I mean, after all, he is a writer. And a damn fine one too. Well damn fine doesn't quite do him justice. I am sure you all know of his works so I won't prattle on about him, but in case you don't, he is a baws of the highest calibre. Seriously just google him and you will be floored by how much he does, and how amazing his body of work is. And I am in now small way honored to be able to work with him. So far the writing that I have gotten from him has been hands-down the best stuff I have ever worked on. And you all remember how much I praised some of my more recent collaborators! But Si has skills like none that I have ever worked with. So to say that I am excited, is a huge understatement.
The book is due to hit yo faces in June and it only costs $1. Yep you heard me right, $1. So make sure your local comic shop is picking it up!
That's all I got for now but be sure to keep a lookout for more about Extermination!
Stay tuned for more to come...
